My contribution
Contributed to Ra’ed, a multi-tenant training-management platform supporting INJAZ Kuwait’s volunteer-instructor recruitment, teaching applications, session assignments, attendance, and certification workflows.
Developed features within a shared codebase supporting organization-specific workflows, role-sensitive interfaces, and English/Arabic localization.
A training model built around delivery
- Course
- Reusable training content.
- Offering
- A particular delivery of a course.
- Offering session
- A scheduled meeting within that delivery.
- Course session
- A reusable session template.
Platform capabilities
The shared product supports these workflows according to organization configuration and role. They describe platform scope, separate from my personal contribution.
- Discovery & accounts
- Tenant-branded course discovery, offering details, schedules, and application entry points, alongside account registration, login, confirmation, recovery, and profile management.
- Instructor operations
- Onboarding, profile and CV assets, teaching applications, review, assignments, and instructor workspaces.
- Course & offering management
- Reusable course content and session structures, offering schedules, locations, deadlines, capacity, and coordinator management.
- Attendance
- Workflows use browser location information and photo evidence, with review capabilities appropriate to the workflow. Signed attendance-pass links support attendance operations; viewing a pass and recording attendance are distinct actions.
- Participants & certificates
- Enrollment, cancellation/reactivation, records, and participant workspaces where enabled. Instructor and participant certificate workflows include PDF outputs and verification-related capabilities, with eligibility specific to each workflow.
- Communications & localization
- Scheduled reminders, operational reporting, exports, English/Arabic localization, RTL interfaces, tenant branding, and configurable feature availability.
Architecture & organization configuration
Ra’ed uses separate Next.js web and admin applications sharing Supabase. React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, next-intl, and reusable Rakezza foundations support the interfaces; Supabase Auth, PostgreSQL, Storage, and Edge Functions support application services. The supplied architecture includes Docker-based deployment configuration.
Configuration-driven tenancy combines shared business concepts with organization-specific branding, feature flags, and role-sensitive operations. This allows instructor and participant journeys to vary by organization within a shared codebase.
Reliable reminder processing
The reminder workflow persists scheduled notifications and derives delivery around 24 hours before the first session. Before sending, it rechecks current eligibility and tracks delivery attempts so changes in registration or session state can be considered.
The newer worker uses atomic claiming so concurrent workers do not simply take the same pending records. This is an implementation pattern from the supplied walkthrough; deployed worker schedules depend on the deployment configuration.
